Sustainable Development Goals are seventeen goals to make the world a better place by 2030. The SDGs have been agreed upon by the countries that are members of the United Nations (UN). These goals were submitted from global organizations and individuals. The Sustainable Development Goals started in 2015 and will run until 2030. They are a global compass for challenges such as poverty, education and the climate crisis. They are the successors of the Millennium Development Goals, which ran from 2000 to 2015. Behind the seventeen goals are 169 targets. They make them even more specific.

These SDGs are part of the Marlin Yard Foundation core activities. We are happy to assist in the process of reducing the “ecological footprint”. Our mission is to promote, to assist with and execute sustainability and self-reliance among the people in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and throughout the Caribbean; something that is urgently needed after witnessing and experiencing the destructive 2017 hurricanes (climate change impact) and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our 4 x R motto is “Reuse, Reduce, Recyle & Repurpose”. We apply the 4 x R motto by helping build and teach people to build ecological and hurricane-resistant homes and by setting up agricultural activities, a sustainable lifestyle and circular entrepreneurship will be stimulated so that profit sharing opportunities (crowd profit sharing) are created among communities.
