Dirk serves as our dedicated volunteer consultant, offering his expertise in material recovery and renewable energies. With his technical and economic acumen, he provides valuable advice on solutions, costs, and community impact to Stichting Marlin Yard (SMY). Dirk’s involvement with renewables and the Marlin Yard Community spans many years, leveraging his experience as a sales and project manager, as well as an independent management consultant. His core competencies include renewables and recyclables utilization, with additional knowledge in soil and bio sciences stemming from his background as a qualified geographer. Currently, Dirk holds the position of Head of Department for Renewable Gases at the German Biogas Association.
