Caribbean Impact Market – CIM
We launched CIM and it wasn’t just a platform. It was a promise.
On 18 December 2025, we launched Caribbean Impact Market (CIM).
Not with fireworks. Not with perfection. With a clear intention: Caribbean commerce deserves its own infrastructure, built for our realities, our people, and our future.
Because for too long, doing business in the Caribbean has meant working around systems that weren’t designed for us. Vendors and small businesses are expected to “just figure it out” , with limited access to tools, fragmented payment options, and very little support for growth.
CIM was created to change that.
What CIM is (in plain language)
CIM is a Caribbean-first market and commerce initiative built to help local vendors and entrepreneurs:
- Get visibility for what they sell and what they do
- Connect with customers who actually want to buy Caribbean
- Build trust through a clear, transparent vendor ecosystem
- Grow into modern commerce without losing cultural identity
Consider it to be a combination of Amazon, Ebay and Etsy together. It’s not just about selling. It’s about building an economy that keeps value circulating locally.
Why this launch mattered to us
Launching CIM felt like putting a stake in the ground. A moment of saying: we’re not waiting for permission to build what we need.
It also reminded me of something I’ve learned again and again in community work and entrepreneurship:
You don’t build the future by talking about it. You build it by shipping the first version.
CIM’s launch was that first version.
What’s next
CIM is designed to grow in phases, with community feedback at the center.
The next chapters are about strengthening the foundation:
- onboarding vendors in a way that feels supportive (not overwhelming)
- building trust and consistency in operations
- connecting commerce to real-world systems like payments, logistics, and training
Because the goal isn’t hype. The goal is durability.
